I always seem to be asked about new development opportunities in the city, so decided to give a quick recap of what is currently available and what you should be looking out for in the coming months.
If I haven’t talked to you about this already here is my two sense on buying pre build… it is a great investment in the City of Guelph. The statistics are available to you (GDP for the Guelph region grew by 3.6 per cent in 2018 placing it as the highest among medium sized cities in Canada- read more here) , but the fact is we are growing and the access to our beautiful city is only increasing. By 2025 (that’s just over 5 years away) Guelph GO transit will give you access to Pearson in 35 mins and downtown Toronto in 45 minutes.
For these reasons alone we can expect the demand on the housing market to increase and therefore increase housing prices. Looking out 5 short years, NOW is a great time to invest some of your nest egg into real estate to reap the rewards later.
